Drift Boat Fishing Experience

Glide across pristine alpine waters and cast into the unknown. Our Eco-Friendly Drift Boat Fishing experience is tailored for those who know their way around a rod and reel and are ready to explore remote, scenic lakes accessible only by boat. It’s a peaceful yet adventurous way to fish Queenstown’s backcountry.

Pick Up / Opening
Queenstown or Glenorchy - 8:00am (Self drive to location if possible will increase your fishing time, please discuss this with your guide)

Drop Off / Closing
Queenstown or Glenorchy - 5:00pm
Drop off time may vary depending on the fishing location on the day.

Inclusions

• Safety equipment
• Snacks, refreshments and a cut lunch included
• Safety and fishing training
• Keep your fish numbers depending on the rivers and lakes chosen on the day, we promote catch and release
  
  

Exclusions

• Fishing license are available online here (please purchase on the day as non refundable) - fishandgame.org.nz/licences/
• Fishing license can also be purchased onboard
• Waders/boots/rod and reel are available for hire at time of booking - $95 per person per day
• Alcohol – feel free to bring your own (Please drink responsibly, no spirits)

Family & Child Policy
Youths are welcome for fly fishing but will be charged through at adult rates.

30% minimum deposit required for all bookings with balance due 30 days prior to experience date. (full payments also welcome).
